FIF, together with MAdFintech and Ecofin, organised the 4th Insurtech Forum, this time in Ibero-America, which took place yesterday, 25 November, in Madrid.

It was an intense and well-attended day, with round tables of important players and investors in innovation and reflection on the future, and where 27 insurtechs presented themselves, 5 of which were Portuguese:

- Ethiack

- Indie Insurance (embbeded Insurance)

- Kinetikos Health

- LLuni

- SILAS Insurtech

The final prize went to TRAK, Software based on Artificial Intelligence (like almost 100% of the projects pitched this year) that optimises rehabilitation processes, a growup already in use by several insurance companies in Spain.

Among the Portuguese, the highlight this year was the Kinetikos health, a very innovative platform that allows remote, objective and real-time measurements of the degree and type of mobility of patients with neurological diseases, to help clinical providers optimise rehabilitation and empower patients for self-care.

Among the different Latin American countries, the highlight was the DSIDSI or DSINNO (Design Systems Inno) specialises in consultancy to transform technological challenges into effective business solutions.

FIF was represented by Miriam Nicolau da Costa, its Chairman of the Board, and by her colleague Paulo Padilha, also Chairman of its Insurtech Group and CIO of Prevoir.
